New Yahoo Chess Games

Can you recommend a great site to play chess?
I tried the new Yahoo Chess. It isn’t for me.
I’m looking for a site with a good relative rating system (realizing its not true ELO). I would like the players to be more serious and not abandon games in lieu of resigning. I would also like a nice user interface.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
For over the board chess, blitz or slow games, it is ICC. The Internet Chess Club.
http://www.chessclub.com/
IMHO, it has the strongest players on the internet by far. Includes simultaneous exhibitions by IM’s and GM’s. Good interface. Fee based.
For correspondence chess, [like postal chess in the old days, but now it's played over the internet]
http://gameknot.com/
Excellent interface, separate analysis board and data base available. If you are playing people who have earned their rating and are over 1200, very few people time out. If they time-out, the number of time outs shows on their profile, so you can avoid playing against them. Free for limited number of games at a time. Modest charge for unlimited number of games.
