Dutchess Community College Nursing Program
What is a great way to make money in my situation without relying on employers that aren’t hiring?
The job market is terrible in my area for kids around 18 like me. Im a freshman at Dutchess Community College in the nursing program, I have been habitually going around and applying for jobs but I simply am not getting any responses from any employers. I would like to be making around 10 dollars per hour (on average). school monday to thursday for a few hours in the mornings but my schedule is blank other than that. Fortunatly my parents pay my tution, phone bill and would pay any medical bills I might stumble into. Is there any way that I can make money?
If you live near a big city (even if you don’t), your best bet is to go to a Temp Staffing Agency. They can find you a simple administrative position in an office, part-time and you’ll usually get 10+ an hour.
I work for one in NY and they only get jobs that are 12+ an hour. The jobs are usually very easy for our generation (require use of Word mostly, sometimes u’ll have to know Excel or Powerpoint).
